primary task was to replace water pump. Mitchell1 diy gave very good instruction on setting up timing chain, silver plated links on crank, and cams as well crank timing mark on oil pump cover. installed new chain tension plunger, no new chain or sprockets. ALL tests on cam/crank sensors and cicuits lead to bad cam sensor
Any codes on the dash? Does the car run without the cam sensor?
All I can say at this point is if the parts were replaced properly and everything is set right and the car runs without the cam sensor, replace the cam sensor, but before you replace the sensor make sure the wires are not pinched or any bars spots grounding somewhere.
