2000 chevy malibu battery dies after sitting with out being started up every couple of hours. Also recent complications with the car not starting even when the lights in the car is on and radio works leading me to believe the battery is not dead...there is no noise when I turn the key in the ignition.
Your car has a massive short circuit that is killing your battery, the first place to start would be your starter and then the alternator. Disconnect negative side of the battery terminal and hook up a test light, turn ignition on with all doors closed with all accessories off. If it shines bright pull fuses one by one until it goes off to isolate the short.
Question: Do the head light dim allot when you crank the engine ?
