Got a Laptop that I am able to boot into windows but the bios admin password is set. Was looking for J1 or Jumper spots on the board and didn't notice it any... Was thinking of making a db24 connection but is that for just booting? Most information is stated as if you was booting the system and u was prompt with a login at post.

Need to unlock to set boot permissions to reinstall windows. I could think of work arounds such as removing HDD. Installing onto a flash drive and then transferring to Hard disk... run like " the command to uninstall all drivers" could have to look up been a while. I think its removing all the files in c:/windows/system32/config sam..system. default..and 2 others.

Backup is located in c:/windows/system32/config/repair

Did a job forr a bank and boss tested me with a system that had a system 32 error. I was told to repair it without reinstalling windows at the age of 18 ;)
