Hello there! I'm new here, so I don't know of any norms or stuff like that which may or may not be in place. Still, I take a shot and ask my question!
I just reformatted my fairly new computer (a couple of months old). I've done this a lot recently, playing with some different OS dists and stuff. Now, I wanted to go back to Win XP again. But after the installation of XP was complete, my computer wont recognize my network parts of my motherboard (i.e. I can't connect to Internet, but the network cable glows in red/orange). This doesn't make any sense at all for me, since it has been working fine for a long time now. It has went through a lot of reformatting and reinstalling of OS'es though, could this have any bad impact on my hardware?
Anyway, my spec that I think have any relevance are:
Motherboard: ASUS P5N-D Socket 775
CPU: Intel Core2 Duo
Well, that's it for now... tell me if you wish to know of any other stuff inside the comp
