Hi There I have read a couple of different threads where peoples computers wont start, wont show the BIOS etc. I have tried a few of the suggestions that I am comfortable doing on my own I have vert=y little expierence fiddling with computer hardware)

I built the computer with a friend and everything was working fine until I had to move, it then randomly stopped working. By that I mean everything in the case comes on, fans, leds, motherboard etc. There is no beeping that happens, but the fans will stay on for about 10 sec then shut off, then start up again for 10 sec. It will keep doing this until i hit the 1|0 power button at the back.

I have removed all components and replaced them all back they way my computer friend had them with no success.

I am running

Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L motherboard
intel duo core processor
GEFORCE GTX 260 graphics card
MOD Xstream pro 600w psu
seagate 500 gb hard drive
2x 2gb corsair sitcks of RAM
Antec 900 gamer case

I would suggest you benchtest the PC components to make sure MB not shorting with case.

Desktop cases in the "old" days were oriented with the motherboard on the bottom and cards inserted perpendicularly to the board would just seat themselves better if the case was bumped. Now, most cases are towers and the cards hang there with the torque applied at right angles to the slots. When moving a system it's really best to transport it with the right side of the case down (the same way you build the system).

If your system will not POST after a move the first thing I'd do would be to check the power and front panel connectors and the fan (especially CPU fan) connectors. Then I'd re-seat the RAM and video card and check to make sure the heatsink was still firmly attached. This only takes a few moments. If it's still a no-go after this something may have come lose and is causing a short -- time to bench test the system as stated above.
