Just as title says... I had two computers and decided to merge them. ATAs work fine, but the CPUs were Xeon 2.8 GHz with different frequencies so when I've tried to put both of them at the same time I get a warning message saying that only the first one will work.
The message is as follows:
***** Warning: non-matching MP Processor *****
multiprocessing-capable processors have been detected
in your system. However, both processors must be the same
model and frequency to run in multi-processing mode. Your
system will continue to boot in uni-processor mode.
Press F1 to continue, DEL to enter SETUP
My question is whether is there any way to force the faster one to slow down in order to have them both.
Their frequencies seem to be 800 and 533 MHz but I'm not sure about it since an hour ago I thought they were the same, how can I find out? (I can unplug them if necessary but haven't got time right now, also I hope there's a faster way)
