I'm working on Acer aspire 4530, When I connect the adapter charger to laptop, the charger "is like stop working".

If I test the charger with a multimeter outside the power jack, the reading 18.5v is fine. Whenever I plug the charger to power jack the reading drops down to 1~3v. Then I had to unplug the charger from the power outlet so it starts to work again.

The same issue happens to me with another universal charger.

I believe it maybe something wrong with the motherboard, but it amaze me that the computer looks new.

On this model 4530 there is a small board that is the one that hold the power jack, that small board is tested and working fine.

If I take out this small board, connect the adapter and test the current ,the readings are fine 18.5v.
