I have a HP Pavilion Slimline s3020 with a bad motherboard. I would like
to buy another motherboard for a desktop enclosure and use the
remaining parts form the HP Pavilion Slimline s3020 to build a desktop
computer. Does anyone have any suggestion on what motherboard
I should buy? I would like to have a 4 memory slot motherboad.

Thank you,

Is HP Pavilion Slimline s3020 the full Model Number? It appears some of that model have Intel CPU's and some have AMD.
Your case will only accept MATX Mobo's and they commonly have two RAM slots. A2 X2GB matched pair of RAM is more than enough for any game and most all apps.
You have DDR2 RAM and most all the new Mobo's will require DDR3.
Most all OEM OS's are tied to the OEM Mobo also.

The slimline HP motherboard has M2NCS1-AR stamped on it. Note I plan to use a standard computer case that has a power supply. I would use the
processor, memory & drives & parts form the slimline HP. I would be
using parts from the HP to build another computer with a different motherboad. I am looking for a motherboard replacement.
Any suggestions for a motherboard?
Thank you,

Would any good motherboard with a AM2 socket work? What would you
recommend for that type of motherboard?
Thank you,
