Hello guys, i got this PC for some time now, but i never rly tuched bios much as i dont know much about working within it.
I was hoping that someone would maybe help me setup my BIOS better.
I aim for performance, no power saving, downclocking or anything like that.
However i am unable to OC my CPU even i have CM EVO 212 it barely holds CPU on stock speed while gaming on 55-57c (limit for my CPU acording to AMD is 61c) in prime 95 it gets to 61c in about 30sec, bare in mind in my room is around 30c atm and inside PC is 33c acording to mobo.
I changed thermal paste 3 times, all 3 times i used deferent one. I used deferent models of applying it on CPU, from "been" style to using credit card to evenly spread it over whole CPU.
Before this CPU i had Phenom ll 965BE and 212 evo had no problems keeping it cold on 4k OC.
How ever with FX 8350 that i own now its all deferent story.
My PC case is well vented. I have two strong 12cm fans front and side that are pulling in cold air, and two 12cm in back and top of case that are pushing air out. GPU has twin frozr 6 so is cold as ice. PSU is taking hot air from inside of case out. Cable management is done so that there is no cables inside case (they are all behinde right side case panel) so EVO 212 should have all conditions to work properly.
CPU V core is set to 1.32V and it holds up to that no matter if its idle or heavy load due to fact that i set LLC on very high as when using medium i didnt gain on lower temperatures but i had Vdrop from 1.32 to 1.26.
CPU is ~6monts old and it works normaly, i never crash or have any kind of problems with hardware or system.
MY CONFIGURATION:
- CPU: AMD FX-8350BE 4GHz
- VGA: MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X 6GB GDDR5 2000mhz
- MBA: ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0
- RAM: Kingston Hyper X Fury 2x8GB 1866mhz
- PSU: ANTEC VPF 550W
- CPU FAN:Cooler MasterEVO 212
- CASE: LC POWER Warmachine X Extreme Airflow Edition
Here are screenshots of BIOS (attachment), its 9 pictures of settings i think are most important and where im hoping someone will suggest me how to tweak some options better by lowering/increasing changing etc. Im not thinking just about CPU bound settings, but overal BIOS settings that can be seen in pictures.
Thanks in advance to any suggestions, tips or help!
