I have surprisingly ran my computer like this for over a year, It will randomly decide to turn on or not, when it does, it beeps and loads the bios etc. I have a pretty good chance that it will reset anytime, randomly, could be on loading windows, but usually it will reset when its loading the desktop. Sometimes it will finish loading and the chances of it rebooting after this point are minimal but it does happen, I used to play games with no trouble, it was usually other things that would cause the reset.

My solution that seemed to work:
So I got sick of this and pulled out my DIMM slot 2 ram stick and it works like it should, no problems. Bad stick of memory right? Well no... I put my "bad" stick in DIMM slot 1 and kept the good one aside. Same result, it works great with no chance of a restart. So I am a little lost.

What does this mean?

Motherboard: Asus P5NSLI
CPU: Intel 1.6 core2duo
Memory: 2x1GB pqi turbo
