original xbox mod issues

when we moved when i was 14 i packed my xbox away with some other stuff, as soon as i unpacked it the console began to glitch (freezing during games, restarting during gameplay) my father had a friend of his fix it. when i got it back it was modified had the same problems plus more. we sent the console back numerous times each time it came back the same. now that im 18 i wish to fix it. i do have an xbox 360 already but i wouldnt get much for the console if i sold it and i have 30 games for it.

i would like to know how i can remove the mod (SlaYer EvoX 2.7) as it doesnt do anything for me and repair the problem.

Jailbreaking, Jtaging, Consule Modding

While the act of Jailbraking, Jtaging or modding a gaming device that you own is not illegal.
However it is against the TOS(Terms of Service) of most if not all providers such as PSN, XBL and your account or device will banned from their services.
If done incorrectly it may also render the device unusable and unrecoverable.
Because of the above the Staff at TSF feel it not in your or our best interest to help with making or undoing any of these type of modifications.
Any threads dealing with these will closed and or deleted.

See if your fathers friend knows how to remove the mod, most likely there is an underling problem with the console that started the first issue and continues on.
