Actually, GMAIL allows a maximum of a 10meg single message. However, there are more attractive options anyway, try YouSendIt. This service allows you to send up to a gigabyte file to their site, and it can be downloaded by anyone with Internet access. Since the file isn't MIME encoded, it's also faster to upload and download than email.
