Hi all,

I am writing because I have a problem with my VPN using Linux. After exactly 20 minutes the VPN drops since when I moved in the new house with a new internet provider.
I am attaching the log file I get.

The problem is only under Linux. I tried different PC and OS. I am using Juniper Network. I followed several forum posts and nothing works for me. The company IT cannot help. The internet provider technician cannot help. I really don't know what to do.
Please help me out.

Thanks

There is a 20 minute timeout set somewhere by default.

Hi jimscreechy,thanks for your reply.

I would not know where this timeout would be.
I just moved from an house to another. SAme pc and configuration. Different internet provider and router. Windows and MAC work OK. Not sure why and how this timeout can affect linux only..

I would hazard a guess and say that the router has this timeout configure but the Linux computer is not making the connection in the same way or using the same settings as your other devices.

Out of interest what are you establishing a VPN to? as it is entirely possible the connections is at the other end.
