What does the status of the network icon say?

Under the start menu, type in cmd on the search tab

Then right click on cmd program and run it as administrator

type in this command, ipconfig /all

and have the outputs posted

Re: Cant connect to my router by LAN, but with wireless connection i can

that would infer you have connection to the router but the router doesn't have a connection to the internet if connected by lan.

if connected by wifi it could indicate you didn't enter the encryption passphrase connectly so you are being denied router access.

reboot the router would be a good start.
