depends on what you want.

people used to switch to firefox because it was more security aware than ie and that it was customisable where as ie used to be full of holes and hackers were aimed at braking microsoft systems and software so that was another reason poeple use mozilla

there are other browser which seem better for watching videos on like safari and opera is good for doing other things

I've been having problems getting IE9 to edit in forums right -- it's a Flash/IE9/graphics card issue that has been known for a year but has yet to be fixed. Because of this, I switched to Chrome and find it to be a good browser. However, sometimes I run into a situation where IE is required, such as with some older Microsoft online games, so I use IE too for the occasional task. Last week I worked on a couple of older laptops that had Firefox on them and while I didn't see anything that would tempt me to switch to it, I also didn't see anything bad with it either.

My suggestion, since all of these browsers are free, is to use one for a couple of weeks then try another, etc. until you find one that fits your browsing style.
