Re: Timeouts and Sluggishness

I was gonna start a thread but this seems like it could go here ;) if not I apologize.

I've had tons of timeouts and general sluggishness tonight. so much so that I thought it was my router or modem. everything was fine with them. same sites using wireless (not 3g) on my phone load right up. remote desktop into my server and using ie on it they were fine. so I thought maybe it was my NIC so I updated the driver. same thing. changed Ethernet cable, same thing. same sites on chrome and ie load up just fine. using firefox 7.0.1. I run ccleaner practically daily so not a lot of temp files etc. virus/malware free etc. a few weeks ago firefox was so slow on certain sites that it led me to try chrome. I like it but it's not customizable enough for me (layout mostly). this was one of the sites timing out repeatedly with firefox.

I do not have many add ons etc. adblock and bit torrent webui and that is it.

Re: Timeouts and Sluggishness

I moved your post to its own thread so as not to interfere with the poster's help in the thread you joined.
