Please, God, Don't Let Mozilla Ruin Firefox

Firefox and Mozilla are going through a mid-life crisis

A week ago, Mozilla shed some light on its future, laying out a plan on how the browser is going to dramatically change in the upcoming months. While most of us understood "Chrome extensions were coming to Firefox," it is not as simple as we all thought.
First of all, Mozilla seems dead serious on implementing these changes. If you haven't been paying attention to what's going on in the Firefox Nightly and Developer Edition channels, the changes are already upon us. No ifs or buts.
Second of all, unlike previously thought, Mozilla is not accepting its role as second fiddle to Chrome. The Mozilla dev team has a pretty solid plan on how they can change the browser's "always crashing" image, and even if we don't like it, this includes a severe and very profound change to Firefox's core code.

lately I have been using chrome more and more mainly because firefox cannot get their act together. I do a lot of streaming and have so many problems in firefox that it is easier to just use chrome. And this is a firefox issue - not me because I will have the exact same problems on firefox just installed on a new install of linux. If they are having to work closer with google chrome people then maybe things will change.

I'm not religious, but please God, indeed!

I really don't understand why some are complaining about Firefox. I've never experienced any problems with it, and it's fast like any other browser. I hate the new Google Chrome look (since version 29) so much that I use the Classic Theme Restorer add-on. That add-on is a gift from Heaven!

Most people having trouble with Firefox either have an outdated add-on not agreeing with the browser, or they have way too many of them, or for a reason I fail to comprehend, they have tens of tabs open at the same time. Others have questionable computer configurations and compatibility issues.

Chrome has been known to be a memory hog since day one. I did try it myself, and although I did not experience any particular problems with Chrome, I just did not like the general feel of it, nor the interface, and I missed Firefox's customizability and add-ons.

I see as many problems on various forums with Chrome as with all other major browsers. Although some problems may be legitimate, no offense to anyone, but most problems with browsers or any other software often coincides with experience level...
