Empty box on the bottom of Firefox

Hello
Everytime I startup Firefox I see a box the one circled in red on the bottom as seen in this picture at http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z36/Radian2/Firefoxscreenshot.jpg

I have uninstall and reinstall Firefox but still the same problem
I have restarted my computer but still the same problem
I have scanned my computer for Virus or spyware but still same problem

Thank You

Smile Re: Empty box on the bottom of Firefox

I have sloved this problem by uninstalling an invalid add-on in
Firefox-->Tools-->Add-ons

Re: Empty box on the bottom of Firefox

And that is very impressive.

I'm sure you are quite proud of yourself and I suppose you have every right to be.

I think I would be even more impressed if you actually did something truly noteworthy such as detailing and identifying the problem and the solution.

For the rest of the community . . . the problem I found (and unfortunately, we don't know if it is the same problem or an entirely different one) was with Hyperwords 2.8. That is a real shame too. I have used it for a long time and come to rely on it as a favorite tool.

It seems like the problem with a blank window across the bottom of my screen in Firefox didn't start until I updated to 2.0.0.11 and this was long after the previous gentleperson's post (Release Date: November 30, 2007.) Again, nothing we can compare notes to . . . .
