why can't I load google chrome?

I used to use google chrome and the support people from avg did something and after they installed avg pro for me...I could never get google chrome to load...it is just a white page that says loading..but it never loads

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling chrome?

You said it hasn't worked after AVG? Do you have AVG firewall? If so, open the AVG user interface. Click on the 'Firewall' icon, and find the little fill-in circles. Click 'disable'. and click ok. Try then. If that doesn't work, re-enable your firewall, and re-download/install Google Chrome.
