update: tried at home just now, both mr coffee and us mint.gov sites pages visited appear as normal. my wife says maybe the internet speed? I know the internet speed at my work is a fraction of the speed we have at home.

if the site was blocked it would go to the firewall page. like adult sites, for example, not that I would visit such sites at work, but it would go to the firewall page as forbidden category/pornography. even like sites for alcohol and tobacco, like bacardi for example, are blocked and it goes to forbidden: alcohol/tobacco. so I don't think that's it. those websites are more shopping sites, and I'm on amazon and ebay frequently looking at stuff, and it's not a problem.

What happens if you close all Internet Explorer windows, click Windows 7's Start orb, type in (or copy and paste):
iexplore -extoff usmint.gov
and then press [Enter]?

Have you tried resetting IE back to its original defaults? To do so, in IE click Tools > Internet Options > Advanced tab > Restore advanced settings button > Reset... button. Select "Delete personal settings", click the Reset button, click the Close button > then restart IE and test.

My System

Hi, and welcome to TSF.

What security programs (Antivirus/Antispyware) do you have installed?

Do you have a custom hosts file or just the Windows standard?

Also, does anyone else think this could be a corrupt user profile?

Just remembered he said multiple computers.
