Sorry -- but I'm not quite following you here.

Can you please describe your exact problem a little more?

Are you saying that you'll be on a page reading it and then suddenly, without warning, the page just reloads itself?

Make sure that you have the most recent version of Chrome installed - https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/

Uninstall the current version of Chrome completely with Revo Ininstaller (free version) - Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

Then re-install the latest version of Chrome.

Regards. . .

Google Chrome keeps refreshing pages on access demand after they were long time not visited. It can be made once by a program, but still interrupts me as I am browsing email.

...Last thing I'd do is full reinstall.

You mentioned Chrome 48 did the same.

Is this a known bug in Chrome?

I don't use Chrome at all. I use IE.

Chrome 48/49, which is recent, is making those things often.

I like IE11 as well. I really don't understand why should end support to it.

People who use IE really like Opera often.

My System

Do you mean that it reloads while it's still the active tab, or that it refreshes when you return to a tab after a while?
