Have just gotten AOL reinstalled on a recently malware-damaged computer running XP Home.
AOL used to connect automatically when you launched it, but now it fails to unless you manually connect the 'AOL Broadband' network connection from the Network Connections control panel.
Connecting before hand everything is fine, but how can this be set back to how it used be?
When you 'search' for modems within AOL it never finds it.
Am using a BT Voyager 105 USB ADSL modem, with the AOL drivers - have tried two of these modems to no avail, change ADSL filters. I'm now scratching my head...
Where am I going wrong, any ideas?
Many thanks.
