[SOLVED] Desktop files

I have a laptop toshiba, and I hate that suddenly in a folder a file called desktop a configuration settings appears in this folders and I know I'm not suppose to delete them, but what are they? what can I do to save them on a specific file, so they don't appear all over my files?

Hi, welcome to TSF

Open Windows Explorer, go to Tools > Folder Options and click the View tab.

Click 'Don't show hidden files, folders or drives' and 'Hide operating system files'. Click the OK button.
