Google Email - Interception

Recently I was suspicious that someone was reading my google emails so I put on the two phase security on it - which issues a numerical number to your mobile as a second step. Only when you put in the numerical number does it allow you access to your emails. I was correct twice my mobile alerted me of new codes when I was not trying to log into email.

Now I have had a code issued by a phone number in the UK +447860016706 the problem is that I am in the South Pacific and all other codes have been issued via New Zealand. Is someone intercepting my emails and now codes :frown:.

Whose is this number - can anyone help?

Hi and Welcome to TSF!

The first and foremost, change your Google password to a new password that you have never used before. Something unique and different.

Secondly, do you have an Android phone? What applications have you downloaded lately? Are they all valid installations from the Play Store?

The UK number, this is the number that is issuing the codes? If so, you may just be reaching a Google UK server as that is the closest to you.

What antivirus and security are you running on your current PC?
