I wouldn't solely rely on a fingerprint scanner (biometrics), it is great from a security standpoint. However because it is a piece of hardware, and hardware fails, files get corrupt. Maybe I'm just a "old school" geek, but I'll take typing a password over using the latter. We use CAC cards at work, and have plenty of issues with certificates getting corrupted for no reason.
