canon mp160 pixma

printer worked good for about 10 ink carts then it started not feeding the paper in straight -- it grabs it on the left side and skews it in so that it jams --

tried oiling everything I could

and found online suggestion about maintenence key at number 6 and having the paper rollers go a few times without paper

but no change

someone else online said it should have a new part but that he could find nowhere to obtain that part

Hello and Welcome to TSF,

Go here:
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/co...&modelid=13368

In the question area: type "clean rollers" (without quotes)
Choose number 1. (clean paper rollers)

Note: I know you said you have done this but use the directions here to do it again and see if this doesnt fix the problem.

yes that is where I got the instructions before and I just tried it again and it still did not help

you might check around and see if there is any possible part that I could get to repair this
