Hello, i am new here, and need some help!! I am also stuck in a loop, on my daughters laptop. Specs for that comp are:
HP Compaq 6710b
Intel Core 2 DUO CPU T7300
Processor Speed: 2000 MHz
Cache size (L1/L2) 64/4096 KB
Memory: 1024 mb
ROM BIOS Version F.08
Tech info on my blue screen is
STOP: 0x0000007B (0XF79AF524, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)
and states no other specific info above the tech info. Only recomendaton to run CHKDSK /F to check for corruption.
I used f8 and was brought to black screen stating:
"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
You can attempt to repair this file by starting Windows Setup using the original Setup CD-ROM
Select 'r' at the first screen to start repair"
I am pretty illiterate in this area and dont have a system disk. Any recomemdations???
