hello to all of you,

i have a sony vaio pcg-61412m for 2 years now. since yesterday, i have occur no problem with it.

but yesterday, after pressing on, laptop started working but fan was a little bit "noiser" than usual. windows screen never showed up, there was only a black screen.

i unplugged it (both ac and battery), waited a few moments and replug it.

but since then, i can't turn it on.

when i press on, the green led light turns on but nothing happens after that. fan is not working and of course no booting occurs.

are there any ideas about this problem?

thank you for the above link. i have already done most of them but no success.

my power led is green but nothing happens after that.

i wonder, if i had a burned motherboard could it be on the green power led?

and something else. power led is green as i said.

when i re-press the on button, as long as i keep it pressed, battery led turns on red also. when i release it , the battery led turns off. any opinion about that?

Hi the lead could be damaged, have you tried removing all power including the battery and holding the power button down for 45 seconds
