I have a Dell Vostro 3450 and use specialist engineering symbols such a diameter, degree etc on a very regular basis.
The Vostro has no numeric keypad and no number lock function so I cannot use the Alt+ keyboard shortcuts for these symbols.
The only way of getting these symbols into my documents is the laborious process of opening character map and copy/pasting each symbol every time I need to use it.

Is there any way of making this process quicker and more user-firendly?

Thanks in advance.

Hello, I have been searching for over an hour of something that will allow me to personalize my keyboard shortcuts like instead of copy being ctrl+c I can change it to two letters together like zx or -+ etc. What is the best way to do this. Thank you
