HP Compaq NX9240 Laptop inverter sparking

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before, when I turn my Laptop on and the backlight comes on the inverter is sparking it seems like it is jumping to the metal bracket that holds it in place.

I have already replaced the inverter, the problem is the same, one thing I did find strange was when I take the screw out that holds the inverter in place it no longer sparks.

any help would be appreciated.
