Ok so last night i got home from work with my laptop and I did all the normal measures i would normally take to hook up and start it up. Yet after i logged on to it the screen came up blue with nothing showing on it. Could a virus have caused this or hardware problem? If there is a solution i would like to hear it thanks. My laptop is a Toshiba Satellite 130A series to make it more specific.

try pressing ctrl + alt + delete. see if the task manager window opens up. if it does. then go to the File menu and select New Task. Type in explorer.exe and see what happenes.
