Spybot problem

I carried out a Spybot scan which detected several problems however when I attempted a fix, I received the following message: ERROR Unexpected error in fixing problems [cannot create file C:\windows\wininit.ini Access is denied]

I am using Vista and wasn't aware of any problems, this was just a "routine" scan. I did notice a similar question has been posted but cannot access the fix suggested.

Re: Spybot problem

Hi -

I think this is a Vista related issue. See if running Spybot via right click Run As admin helps.

Re: Spybot problem

Thanks tetonbob, that seems to have done the trick. Re-scanned and problems got fixed.
