I have an adware virus called "tothegames.com" Of course Norton won't delete it or anything and I have tried Ewido and easycleaner and adaware to get rid of it but I can't.
I did a hijack log and I can't see it.
Can someone look at my log and tell me EVERYTHING I can delete to make my machine clean?
I had a houseguest stay here and she loaded stuff I do not want!
I want to get rid of every unessential thing on here if I can.
Thank you a million times over! Cheers

Hi canaduh69

If you haven’t already done so please download Spybot Search & Destroy. You can safely delete everything that it finds.

Download link for Spybot S & D is HERE

I also notice that you are using an outdated version of Hijack This. Please download and install the latest version by going to this Site it has more functionality and will allow us to more thoroughly clean your system

Reboot your system in Safe Mode (By repeatedly tapping the F8 key until the menu appears).

Once you’re in Safe Mode please run Spybot S&D. I notice that you say you've run Adaware. DId you run it in Safe Mode ? ? if not re-run Adaware also while you are in Safe Mode

When you’ve done the above please post a new HJT Log, using the latest version (that you installed above)

Hi Canaduh69 - I'm please to report that you DON'T have any nasties on board.

There are a few areas that could be "Tweaked" to improve the running of your machine, but we here on the security side can't help with that. If you post in the "XP Forum" someone over there may be able to help you.

Good Luck ! !
