Windows Explorer error during boot up

During Windows XP (with service pack 3) boot up I get a pop up message from Windows Explore 8 "Cannot find 'file:///'"
Where does this come from and how do I get rid of it?

If you have comcast, you must unistall Comcast Universal Installer and Comcast Desktop Doctor (if you have them...). This can be done from Control Panel -- Add / Remove Programs.

This looks more to me like infection. edndori, Read the instructions HERE and post the requested logs HERE as this thread shall be closed.. We do not deal with virus infections in this area of the forum.
