Websites come up in Thai

I am retired in Thailand, but all computer work is in English. I have set all the language options in WinXP to English, but some websites continue to come up in Thai.

Examples: Google, IE 7 after cache is cleared. Even my daughter's blog from the U.S. comes up in Thai. Some sites do not have the options to switch to English.

I don't read or speak Thai and would like to get rid of this. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks

Based on the IP address of the computer, some sites like google automatically guide you to the local version of the website instead of the english language one. You can set the language that google should use if you go to this page and set it up in your preferences. Other sites may have similar settings somewhere. After you set up google to search in english, you can use it to search for solutions to other websites!
