I'm lost here because it seems that my internet is working perfectly fine but there is one site that I can't view. At first I thought the site might be down for some reason so I called some friends and they were able to get to the site with no problem, so my question is how come I can go to any other site I have tried going to so far but I can't go to this specific one?

Send a message via Yahoo to sobeit

what site cant you get to? any possibility that you have been banned from that site? Try deleting the files in your temporary internet folder and if that dont work try another brower to see if its a browser setting problem. Also try bypassing your firewall and see if you can access it.

Well i can't visit www.facebook.com or www.myspace.com, and neither are that important to me but I'm worried there is some underlying problem that needs to be fixed.

Click Start => Run, copy and past the command below into the run box:

Notepad C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

Click Ok.

Please post the results back into this thread.

Have you or anyone else installed and filters on the computer?

What security programs do you have?

Also what browser do you use?

I am having the same problem, but it worked for me a few days ago and now doesn't. I have turned on and off everything I can think of with my security, emptied and deleted everything, restarted, etc. No idea what has caused the sudden stop to facebook for me. Any tips??
