Confused "this file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action"

Hi everybody,

I ran Norton Antivirus 2006 and it erased ALL my file associations. So I connot run anything (luckily my Firefox was open)
Also system restore gives me above message. In the past this occurred and
I found a nifty little program to fix this problem. Could anybode give me a hand with this ?

Leo
