Hello,

These 3 errors show up frequently in my Event Viewer. Is there a way to fix them so they don't.

I don't even know if they are really affecting me or not.....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The machine wide Limits Launch and Activation security descriptor is invalid. It contains Access Control Entries with permissions that are invalid. The requested action was therefore not performed. This security permission can be corrected using the Component Services administrative tool.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The lxcf_device service failed to start due to the following error:
The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

DCOM got error "The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion. " attempting to start the service lxcf_device with arguments "" in order to run the server:

Any help is appreciated and thank you,

Darryl

Hi

The first error seems to be related to the second/third in connection with the DCOM config entries and security permissions (possibly raised to custom rather than auto). Though I'm not exactly sure at this stage. Whats the error code?

The 2nd/3rd are in connection with a Lexmark printing device.. is that what you have?

Possibly...
Try printing something and note the time. Then look for any more errors of that time in EventViewer. It could be that the printer services are corrupt.
