Hi all, i was hoping that maybe someone could help me out here. My laptop has been working fine and out of no where as i tried turning it back on it came up with an error that says, " Windows can not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:
\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM"
I was wondering if you guys knew how i could recover from this without having to do a total reinstall. i'm really trying to save what i have on the harddrive if at all possible.
I have a Sony vgn-sz340 running windows xp pro.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
