[SOLVED] xp pro would not boot ask for password

I have a gateway pc running XP Pro. Put in a new tv tuner card and after drivers loaded , rebooted, Gateway sceen pops up then goes to black screen ask for current password. after 3 attempts halts program. Can't boot from cd or floppy, took out card same problem. Can anyone help? Also downloaded a password recovery tool ,burn the iso th cd , didn't do anything. Also donot know how the get to boot sequence setup screen hit every f-button.:upset:

It sounds like there is a BIOS password that has been set. To get into your BIOS
Turn on the computer and immediately press either the F1 key or the F2 key at one-second intervals to enter the BIOS setup utility
You should be able to disable the BIOS password from in there.
