EEK!

I recently installed a better power supply in one of my older PC's and have ensured all connections are connected and the supply seems to be operating fine. When I boot my PC I recieve the following error message...

"920-FAN COMMAND 2 PIN CONNECTOR FROM POWER SUPLY NOT CONNECTED"

I even removed the chassis fan from the previous PC which was a 2 pin connector and connectd it to the motherboard but the error message persists. More of an annoyance really, is there any way to remove this message? Every time I turn on my PC i must wait for it to beep at me then boot with F1 which is really starting to get to me now.

Thanks in advance for your help, sorry if this is in the wrong catogary, I tried in the BIOS section but I think my thread was removed.

Go into the BIOS and turn all warnings but keyboard off.

lol best way.

I looked through my BIOS options (that is the blue options screen you access on boot up?) but I've been through all the settings and there is no option to switch off error messages. Am I looking in the right place?

Thanks again.

All sorted now. Apparantly HP don't like people having too much control over thier BIOS and I was lucky to even be able to access it lol so there is no way to turn off the error message. However I did find out that I can attach a 1k resistor to the 2 pin power connection to make my motherboard think it's connected.

Cheers anyway.
