Using the "Send To - Mail Recipient" feature in Windows Explorer, I want the system to use Gmail to complete and send the email message. I've seen a thread in this forum that solves this problem for setting Outlook or Outlook Express as the email handler, but I want to use Gmail.

you would have to set up your gmail account in outlook or outlook express as a POP account. Here is a How-to webpage:

Then just set your default mail client to outlook or outlook express.
