Hi! I'm hoping someone can give me a clue here.
I've been working on my sister's 2002 Dell Dimension computer, trying to rid it of spyware. I thought that the best and most complete way to do this was to do a complete system recovery. I backed up all the files, and proceeded to reinstall Windows XP. Somehow, I managed to delete a partition of the hard drive, a very small partition that housed nothing. Now, the system won't let me reinstall on the other partition because it says that XP is already on there. I tried creating a bootable floppy from my laptop but it's having no effect. Now I'm stuck in Windows Setup and I don't know what to try next. Can anybody help?
Thanks a lot,
-Colleen
