I recently had some issues with a virus, and following the help from a virus forum, managed to get rid of it.
However, it seemed to cause another problem with my machine. Ever since then, I haven't been able to connect to the Internet. I think that there could be several issues, but one in particular that needs fixing.
This is probably a good time to tell you that I've tried system restore with no joy.
Ok, so it seems that my Remore Access Connection Manager will not start. When I find it in my Services menu, right-click and start, I get a message (error 126) "The specified module could not be found."
I am on broadband, and am using a usb connection to get online which required me to dial-up each time I connect.
I think I must have got a little crazy in deleting all my bits as my modem software appears to have been damaged too.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
