Graphics card is a ATI sapphire hd2400 Pro (cheap but i do not play games on it) tv is plugged into this with a round socket (poss svideo or din type) going to a scart attached to the tv. I am not using a dvd as the picture is poor this way and I am hoping to get a better picture as it is smoother running on the computer.
I possibly need to activate the pc so it sends data down the cable, perhaps activate s video? I had this problem several years ago and someone changed a setting for me but i do not know what is was. I have had to re install after new hard drive and lost whatever enabled this function before. I am using xp pro with service pack 3 on a custom built computer.
