I recently bought a new stick of 512mb (pc3200) double sided hynix ddr which is exactly the same as the stick already in my computer, same speed, same brand. my computer is: Abit KV7
Athlon xp 2500+

And ever since i put the new stick of ram in every time i go to play most of my games eg, doom3 and painkiller it comes up with a windows error and makes the game crash, but when i take the either of the sticks out and leave 1 remaining everything works fine. Since both the ram sticks are exactly the same i was thinking maybe there is something wrong with my motherboard but i dont know, someone please help.
