Hey. I have 21 music files that will only work in Winamp media player. I would like to be able to play them in musicmatch jukebox, but they won't open. They won't even show up in the playlist. I've also tried to put thise files onto my RCA Lyra mp3 Player, but they will not play, they don't even effect my "tracks on file" number. Is there a program I can use to edit the type of file that these files are? Any suggestions/comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in Adavance.

Cheers.

Lets find out what the full extension is....

Showing File extensions
  • Click Start
  • Click My Computer
  • On the Menu Bar click Tools, then click Options.
  • Click on the tab View
  • Then un-tick Hide extensions for known file types.
  • Click Apply.
  • The Ok

Now please go to where these music files are and please post back what the extension is at the end of the file. For example it would be <Song Name>.<Extensions>. Or if you like you could post another Screen shot. I dont mind either way.

Re-Hide File extensions
  • Click Start
  • Click My Computer
  • On the Menu Bar click Tools, then click Options.
  • Click on the tab View
  • Then tick Hide extensions for known file types.
  • Click Apply.
  • The Ok
