Can you test by downloading and installing Miranda IM? This utility will allow you connect to MSN (and IQC, Yahoo! and AIM among others) without actually using the MSN application - hopefully, this will narrow down whether it's an application issue, or a communications issue.

Please let us know how you get on.

My System

Hi Jjozzie, do you have multiple user accounts on your system? If you do, try logging off your profile and onto one of the others and see if MSN runs ok for you. If you are the sole user of the system, try creating a new test user account in your Control Panel then log off yours and onto the test account to try.
