you might need a memory upgrade. how much memory do you have ?

right click on my computer - properties. should say how much ram you have. If not please download everest home edition to get an x ray of your system

 

256 Mb Ram

 

First of all 256 mb will not be enough for wmm. it barely is enough to run the OS itself. However it shouldnt freeze even with 256 mb ram. Is it the only program freezing ?
If so i would uninstall and reinstall it and get the latest updates. ( uninstall it with this. )

Or the reason might be a failing ram. If you can please use a different stick of ram if you can. Also you can test your ram with memtest.

 

I followed that cleanup link and movie maker isn't freezing now! Thank you so much!

 

Okay, it's freezing up again. But now I can use it for about 5 minutes. Please help.
