Media Converter 0.8 no longer opens

OS: Windows XP Media Center Edition

I installed Media Converter 0.8 (from http://www.mediaconverter.org/) a few months back and its been working fine.

But now when I try to open it all I get is a box that says "WindowsApplication1 has encountered a problem and needs to close"

I have tried reinstalling Media Converter but I still get this message.

What does it mean and how do I fix it?
